Your Spotify profile can show upcoming concerts and merch next to your music. Neither is typed into Spotify for Artists by hand: concerts come in from ticketing sites, and merch comes in from a Shopify store.
Concerts
- List the show with a ticketing partner. Spotify imports concerts automatically from its partners; new listings usually appear within about 24 hours.
- Fill in four fields. At least one artist name, the start time, the venue name and the event name.
- Some sources are not shown. Spotify does not display events from Songkick, and virtual events are not displayed.
- Fans see shows near them. Spotify recommends concerts based on location and who people follow and listen to, so asking fans to follow you matters before a tour.
Ticketing partners listed by Spotify: 24tix, AXS, Bandsintown, Biletinial, BookMyShow, Bubilet, Bugece, Ciaotickets, DICE, eBilet, Enterticket, Eplus, Etix, Eventbrite, Eventim, FNAC, Fourvenues, Freshtix, Getin, Gigantic, Humanitix, iTicket, Lawson, More, Nortic, Passline, Posh, Reservix, Resident Advisor, SeatGeek, See Tickets, Shotgun, Skiddle, Stager, Tickeri, Ticketek, Ticketmaster, Tickster, Tixr, Vivaticket, Webtickets, Weeztix, WeGotTickets, Wegow, Xceed, Zaiko.
Merch
- Connect Shopify. Merch comes from a Shopify store connected to Spotify for Artists; you publish products to the Spotify sales channel in Shopify.
- Up to 250 items. Plain text and static images only, no video.
- Where it shows. Your profile, release pages, the Now Playing view and your artist store page; items can take up to an hour to appear.
- What you can sell. Music recordings, apparel, bags and totes, and handmade items made or designed by the artist. Spotify lists prohibited categories and you handle fulfilment and support.
